Biobehavioral Exchange
Biobehavioral Exchange explores, in its nature, contemporary existence, traversing it from multiple perspectives.
These poems are born from lived experience—what hurt, what caused laughter, fear, what was desired—because it is in this way that our systems of judgment and senses of pleasure are questioned. Love and heartbreak appear, as do the body, faith, money, individuality, and an intimate politics of surviving each day. More than theories, they are everyday scenes narrated from the experience of selling or buying one’s emotions. This second edition preserves everyday humor and drama. What is new: it refines its lyricism to be read in one sitting.
It offers us a reflective gaze, challenging the personalities that lay themselves bare along this journey we call poetry.
