ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Mario Alejandro Gutiérrez holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Chicago, USA, and has more than 35 years of professional experience working with developing and low-income countries. His career has taken him to more than 45 countries across Africa, North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia, and Asia. He is a member of the IMF’s roster of macro-fiscal experts. In parallel, he has developed a strong interest in the application of philosophy to self-knowledge and personal growth. His work explores the connections among philosophy, human behavior, and personal development, seeking a deeper understanding of reality and its relationship to observed experiences.
