Reseña

Vernacular Form is an upcoming photography book that explores the aesthetics, materiality, and cultural value embedded in ordinary architecture across Syracuse, NY as a city representative of the post-industrial transformation in the American rust belt. Through a series of walks and photographic surveys undertaken over three years, this work abstracts the built environment to reveal latent formal and spatial qualities that are often overlooked in traditional architectural discourse.
The publication will be designed and produced in collaboration with PRIMA Press, an architecture publisher based in Santiago, Chile, and is scheduled for international distribution in fall 2025.
